Club Coach Trip to RHS Garden Wisley

Event: We are planning a coach trip to the fabulous RHS Garden Wisley, near Woking, Surrey
Join us in visiting one of the world’s great gardens, packed with horticultural inspiration. Sit and reflect in the Wellbeing Garden, enjoy the Wildlife Garden and the lush jungle of the tropical Glasshouse.

Dorset Butterflies - a talk by Stephen Brown
Date: Monday 1st June
Time: 7.15pm to start at 7.30pm

Event Details: Stephen will talk about the problem of declining numbers and what we can all do to help gardening for butterflies, including practical tasks and planting.

Gardening the World - a talk by Christopher Brown
Date: Monday 6th July

Event Details: On behalf of the Commonwealth War Graves Commission, this talk will look at how plots and graves are enhanced by horticulture and the challenges the CWGC face with climate change.

Late Summer Show

Event Details: You are warmly encouraged to enter your vegetables, flowers and crafts into our popular Late Summer Show. The Show Schedule lists the many categories available to enter, and from the novice to the experienced gardener, all are welcome to take part.

The History of Cherry Tree Nursery - a talk by Maria Tidy
Date: Monday 7th September

Event Details: Maria will explain how the nursery supports individuals through therapeutic horticulture, and will bring along a selection of plants from the nursery for members to purchase.
