RULES FOR EXHIBITORS
ELIGIBILITY OF COMPETITORS
1. All exhibits in competitive classes, except where stated otherwise, must be grown or produced by the Exhibitor. It will be within the right of the Show Committee to authorise inspection of the gardens of any Exhibitors either before or after the show.
2. Two or more people may not exhibit in the same class from the same garden.
3. No exhibitor is to make more than one entry in a class.
4. The Show Committee reserves the right to refuse an entry without explanation.
ENTRIES AND STAGING
5. Entry forms will be accepted up to 5pm on Wednesday 27th August 2025. All exhibits may be staged on Saturday 30th August between 8.30am -10am. Please be careful to place your Exhibit on the card bearing your name, having turned it over to hide your identity.
JUDGING
6. Vases & all receptacles must be provided by the Exhibitor unless stated otherwise in the Schedule.
7. No unauthorised persons are allowed in the Show rooms before the official opening time.
8. Judging will start at 10am on the day of the Show. Judges may withhold any award if in their opinion, the entries do not merit it due to either quality or number of entries.
9. The decision of the Judges shall be final relating to the merit of the exhibits.
10. A protest must be accompanied by a £5 deposit, which will be returned if the protest is upheld.
AWARDS
11. Cup points: First prize -3 points, Second prize -2 points, Third prize -1 point.
In the event of two or more competitors gain equal points, the trophy will be awarded to the competitor with the highest number of first prizes.
12. Presentation of Awards will take place at 3.45pm. No exhibit is to be removed until after the award presentations and the raffle.
13. All trophies are Perpetual Challenge Trophies and may be held until one month before the next Show, when they shall be returned, in the state in which they were received to:-
Jane Green, Show Manager. 7 Parmiter Road, Wimborne BH21 2BN or the Allendale Community Centre (Collection box in Foyer).
14. Cost of engraving (if desired) is the responsibility of the holder. NB THE CLAUD COWDRY SILVER SALVER, ERNEST ROBERTS PERPETUAL CHALLENGE SALVER AND WALKER MEMORIAL SALVER, must not be engraved.

15. Membership of the Club and/or entry into a Show, implies acceptance that, unless an objection is lodged with the Membership Secretary or Chairman within 28 days of receipt of this notice, the personal data will be held on file. This data will be used solely for the purposes of membership and/or show management and will not be disclosed to any third party, except by any separate agreement with show winners, where names (not addresses) are supplied to the press for publicity purposes.
GENERAL
16. Exhibits shall only be removed after presentation of awards and the raffle drawn.
17. Anything left behind after the show will be disposed of.
18. All exhibits, personal property etc. will be at the Exhibitor’s own risk.
19. Anything not governed by the above rules shall be decided by the Show Committee, whose decision shall be final and who reserve to themselves the right of interpretation in any case of doubtfully worded rule or regulation.
